Commercial, Industrial, and Institutional (CII) Water Efficiency Checkup Grant

In 2021, Arizona Water Company (AWC) and Water Resources Consulting partnered to bring Water Efficiency Checkups (WEC) to AWC Commercial, Industrial, and Institutional (CII) customers interested in conserving water at their facility. This program has helped non-residential AWC customers identify water saving opportunities.

Now, thanks to funding from Kohler Co., AWC commercial customers in Casa Grande, Coolidge, and surrounding areas, can now receive a grant up to $5,000 to implement water saving recommendations that have been provided to them in a customized report from their WEC. This program is effective starting March 1st, 2026, through December 31st, 2026, or until funds are exhausted.

Follow these steps to apply for a CII Water Efficiency Checkup Grant!

  1. Applicant must abide by the Universal Terms and Conditions
  2. Apply to receive a Water Efficiency Checkup from AWC and Water Resources Consulting by filling out this form: Water Efficiency Checkup Application Form
    1. If you have already received a WEC within one year of Grant Application submittal, you may apply for a grant.
    2. If you received a WEC more than one year from Grant Application submittal, you will need to use the above form to request another checkup.
  3. Determine which recommendations from the customized WEC report you would like to implement at your facility.
  4. Apply for a CII WEC Grant using this link.
    • You will need to upload documentation describing the scope of project, project costs, etc.
  5. Wait for AWC Conservation Staff to review application for eligibility and completeness within 2 weeks of application submittal.
  6. AWC Conservation staff will contact you to verify project details and will send over a CII Grant Agreement. Once this agreement is signed, you may begin completing your project.
  7. Once project is complete, contact AWC Conservation staff, and send over necessary evidence of project completion.
  8. Applicant will receive grant in the form of a check as long as all requirements have been met.
