Design Standards

Submittal of your project design plans and water report must conform to Arizona Water Company design requirements as well as additional permitting agencies in the project area.

1. Arizona Water Company will coordinate an introductory meeting of the project to determine the method of providing water service.
1. Master Plan with Water Infrastructure Facilities – used when proposed project requires additional improvements such as well supply, treatment, storage, and booster pump station to meet proposed water demands. Arizona Water Company will determine if additional Water Infrastructure Facilities are required prior Pre-Submittal meeting.
2. Services(s) on Existing Water Main – used when proposed water demands can be met by the existing water system and only requires service connection(s) to on the existing water main.
3. Water Main Extension – Service(s) – used when existing water mains are not adjacent to the projects property boundary and water mains must be extended to install proposed service connections(s).
