Information For All Customers: Lead Service Line Inventory
November 18, 2024

As required by recent updates to Safe Drinking Water laws, Arizona Water Company is mailing our customers information on the service lines bringing water to their property. Each customer will receive a letter describing if their service line is made up of non-lead materials, unknown materials, lead or galvanized metal. Most customers – over 60,000 – will receive notification their service line contains no lead. No lead service lines were found during the inventory, and ten customers were informed they have galvanized metal service lines that require further investigation. The remaining customers will receive a letter informing them that a portion of the service line is unknown. Arizona Water Company will be working to conclusively determine what material makes up the service lines when we read the meter or inspect the meter box.

You can help by visiting our Arizona Water Company - Lead Safe Community web page to fill out a brief survey if you have information on your service line, and view an interactive map showing the status of each customer in all Arizona Water Systems.
